Looking for the Messiah

January 18, 2009 By Trumpeter Leave a Comment

Love of Money, Increase of WickednessFor the first time in recorded history we see 3 of the world's major religions looking for the appearance of their savior, messiah or enlightened one.

Christians are looking toward the Second Coming which is the return of their savior, Jesus Christ, the son of God.

Jews are looking for their messiah to come for the first time.

Muslims are looking for the return of the Mahdi, or enlightened one.

The meaning of Islam is 'peace'. Peace in the Middle East between the Arab nations and Israel is the ultimate but elusive objective of all governments which are involved in the so-called peace process.

While people are saying, "Peace and safety," destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.
1 Thess 5:3

They dress the wound of my people as though it were not serious. 'Peace, peace,' they say, when there is no peace.
Jeremiah 6:14

Then another horse came out, a fiery red one. Its rider was given power to take peace from the earth and to make men slay each other. To him was given a large sword.
Revelation 6:4

Christians also believe in the appearance of a global leader who rises from obscurity. A man who speaks of peace but who also is hell bent on destruction. His title is the Antichrist and his number is 666. I personally do not believe that it will be possible to identify who this person is until a 7 year peace treaty is signed between Israel and presumably the Arab Nations. The word 'Anti' is Greek and not only means 'in opposition to' but also means 'in place of'. So by his very nature he will be against God, but will see himself as a god or savior of humanity.

I found myself wondering about the Bible passage describing people saying "Peace, peace" … wondering if that might be translated as "Islam, Islam" since the meaning of 'Islam' is 'peace'.

The Koran mandates the muslims "fight against those who believe not in Allah" who refuse to accept what Allah or Mohammed taught, even if they are the People of the Book, who are essentially the Christians and the Jews, until they pay a tax in acknowledgment of the superiority of Islam and until they are in a state of subjection.

From the Koran 009.030 :

"The Jews call 'Uzair a son of Allah, and the Christians call Christ the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. Allah's curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth!"

There can never be true amity between the world's 3 major religions. Judaism and Christianity will eventually be reconciled when the Jews look upon the One who they pierced and weep in acknowledgment of their error. What will happen to the third religion, Islam? While it is true that Islam is currenlty the fastest growing religion in the world, it's destiny can only be to cease to be, to not even be a memory in His story.

What are we to do?

July 26, 2002 By Trumpeter Leave a Comment

It’s been 10 months now since America was attacked by the Muslim terrorists who hijacked 3 passenger jets, killing over 6,000 people. Take a good look at what has happened in America since then. So far, there is little evidence that our country has taken heed of the warning which the September 11th events signify. Nothing happens to any nation without God’s permission. While God is not to blame for the tragedy and terror of September 11th, he did allow the events of that day to unfold as they did, showing his mercy by enabling those brave men to fight back on the jetliner which was destined to crash into our Capitol. Think of how much more terrible and chaotic that day would have been if our Congress was in session while the 3rd plane crashed into the Capitol Building.

Complacency seems to be the pervasive attitude. Sure, there is talk that “its not a matter of IF, but WHEN” in regards to the next act of terrorism in America. But the public seems to be lacking a sense of vigilance or seriousness about the issue. The United States of America, as strong and successful as our country has been, is not invincible.

The Courts are still trying to remove God from all aspects of our government and schools and have even tried to remove the phrase “one nation under God” from our country’s Pledge of Allegiance. Hollywood continues to pollute the airwaves and movie theaters with a continuous stream of filth and morally depraved, Godless “entertainment”. The first transsexual has been approved as a pastor of a Methodist Church. The Homosexuals continue to shamelessly flaunt their sexual deviancy and agenda of “normalizing” their perversion. The Homosexual Agenda also continues to push for defining any outspoken opposition to their cause as “hate speech”. Almost every week now we hear of another child being abducted from their home, raped and murdered. Somtimes to never be seen again. Thousands of children are killed every day in abortion clinics. The wave of Evil continues to wash over our land.

What are we to do?

God has always called his church to warn people of impending judgment. He speaks to the hearts of those who seek him, “Stand up, Speak out, Warn your family, friends, neighbors and country. I have endured enough of this wickedness!” Now is the time for God’s people to warn of judgement. But now is also the time for God’s people to repent of their own “little habitual sins” that they so innocently shrug off as being inconsequential. There are consequences! There is no more time for cheapening God’s grace by continuing in sin because you “know” that God is merciful and will forgive you. Where is the reverent fear of God that you should have? If you do not fear God’s judgement then you either do not know God, or are already captive to the sin that you so pridefully refuse to acknowledge. There is Freedom in Jesus Christ for those who call on his name. There is very little time left before Jesus returns to take his church away from the judgement that awaits this planet.

We want to pray Lord Jesus come soon, but not before our loved ones accept you for who you are, the Son of God, and creator of the Universe. Prince of Peace, Name above All Names, El Shaddai, Yeshua, Faithful and True.
