Rapture

Amir Tsarfati: The Trumpet of the Rapture

Dear saints, take comfort knowing that this ever-darkening world points to the soon return of Christ. The day and hour are unknown, but it could be today when the dead in Christ and those alive in Him are caught up to meet the Lord in the air and be with Him forever!

The Trumpet of the Rapture

The Bible says, “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God.” This takes place in the heavenlies—not something the world will hear, understand, or even notice. It’s not the trumpet of men, or of an angel, but the trumpet of God. The Rapture is connected to the voice of an archangel, entirely in the celestial realm.

When we return with Him, the world will see it—just as the Jews blow the trumpet on the Feast of Trumpets, announcing His visible return. But when we go up in the Rapture, no one will see us—we’ll be gone in an instant. The world won’t rejoice, but heaven will.

Heaven is expecting us. A celebration is being prepared for the coming of the sons and daughters of God!

As 1 Thessalonians 1:10 reminds us: “And to wait for His Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead—even Jesus, who delivers us from the wrath to come.”
