Wake Up!

It’s time to wake up and be alert—because the signs of the End Times are unfolding before our eyes.

Lately, it seems the enemy is sowing division among believers, even among preachers who hold the spotlight. Too many well-known theologians have turned their disagreements over debatable doctrines—like the Rapture—into public battles. Accusations of “false prophet” and “false teacher” fly both directions, while pride and bitterness take center stage.

What must unbelievers think when they see this? Likely confusion, frustration, or even rejection of the message of salvation itself. We need to return to humility, truth, and unity in Christ. God help us to model grace and discernment instead of ego and argument.

Watch Out — These Are the Birth Pains

In the aftermath of the devastating Christmas Day Tsunami of 2004, which claimed over 150,000 lives across Sumatra, Indonesia, Thailand, India, and even the coasts of Africa, the world seems gripped by a sense of dread and anticipation. What’s next? Another massive earthquake? A volcanic eruption? More global disasters?

Scripture tells us to watch out, because these are the birth pains that precede Christ’s return. These aren’t random acts of nature — they are divine warnings. Contrary to what the media suggests, the earth isn’t “trying to tell us something.” The Living God is.

Matthew 24:4–8
Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains.”

These events are not coincidences—they are prophetic warnings to be watchful and ready. The Rapture could occur at any moment. The last days are upon us, and every global crisis reminds us how near we are to His coming.

The Call to Be Rapture Ready

The Assemblies of God (AOG) recently released an excellent position paper on the Rapture, summarizing the biblical foundation and hope of Christ’s imminent return. I encourage you to read it, study the Scriptures, and live in readiness.

Don’t be lulled to sleep by distraction or doubt. The signs are clear. God is calling His people to wake up, be watchful, and live rapture ready.

The return of Jesus is closer now than ever before.
