Charlie Kirk: Reviving America: Charlie Kirk & Pastor Jack

In this thought-provoking conversation, Pastor Jack Hibbs sits down with political commentator Charlie Kirk to tackle some of today’s most pressing cultural and political issues. Together, they explore topics like men competing in women’s sports, shifting gender and political dynamics, and why more young men are gravitating toward conservative values while many educated women lean liberal. Blending Charlie’s data-driven political analysis with Pastor Jack’s biblical perspective, this discussion offers powerful insights into the changing landscape of American culture and the future of faith in public life.

Reviving America: Charlie Kirk & Pastor Jack

Jack Hibbs: Hey everybody, we have a special guest today. He’s going to blow your mind as usual. This is going to be a podcast like no other because of what we’re about to tackle. So get ready—let’s jump into the Jack Hibbs Podcast right now.

Real Life presents the Jack Hibbs Podcast—with intention and boldness to proclaim truth, equip the saints, and impact our culture today.

If this podcast encourages you to live a more fulfilled life in Christ, make sure you leave us a five-star rating. To us, that’s like saying “amen” or “yes.” Your rating will encourage others to listen. Now, open your hearts to what God’s Word has to say to you. Here is Jack Hibbs.

Jack Hibbs: Well, everybody, welcome back to the Jack Hibbs Podcast. We are thrilled to not only have a friend with us today, but also a man who really needs no introduction. God has been using him tremendously. We were just talking a moment ago that ever since 2020 when we first met, we’ve watched this young man’s career explode—and for good reason. Without exaggeration, I believe we have a national treasure in our midst. I don’t want to embarrass him, but please welcome Charlie Kirk.

Charlie Kirk: Brother, thank you. You’re a great friend. Thanks for all you’ve done for me throughout the years. Every week I’m watching Jack Hibbs preach the Word. It’s so encouraging. You’ll send me a text saying, “Eric and I are watching,” or you’ll mention listening to the podcast. I love it.

Jack Hibbs: I do that a lot. My favorite is when you’re using Siri to text and I have to decipher the inaccuracies.

Charlie Kirk: [Laughs] Yeah, Siri doesn’t always get it right. But it means a lot when you tell me you’re listening, especially to the radio. You don’t always get feedback in that medium—people are in their cars, busy—so it’s encouraging to know.

Jack Hibbs: Always. It’s awesome. Okay, let’s dive into this. I want to ask you about your recent encounter with Gavin Newsom.

Charlie Kirk: Thank you for covering it in prayer. It was a difficult project for multiple reasons. But first, he reached out to me through Kimberly Guilfoyle, his ex-wife, who is in Trump’s circle. At first, I thought it was a joke. He reached out saying, “Charlie, I’m a big follower.” I thought, “Yeah, sure.” He said, “I’m doing a podcast and would love to have you on.” My response was, “Don’t you have a state to run?”

But he insisted, “I want to learn from you. No tricks.” So, I was his first invited guest. We decided to go in person, and I’m glad we did. It’s just different than being on a screen. He said he wanted to pick my brain. It was difficult—I wanted to be more aggressive—but when someone’s flattering you, it can look bad if you push too hard. I still pressed him, though, and I tried to do it in a way that honored the Lord, with truth and grace.

He looked foolish on multiple points and got himself in trouble. But importantly, I defended the Lord’s name three or four times, which mattered most to me.

Jack Hibbs: You did. That was awesome. Let me play devil’s advocate—people say his base may be upset, but at the end of the day, they’ll stick with him. Do you think he’s trying to appear more moderate for future ambitions?

Charlie Kirk: Without a doubt. He knows people see him as a radical California governor. This is his attempt to look moderate in the eyes of American voters. But the Democrat Party doesn’t want moderation. That’s what made our dialogue significant—I pressed him on issues like biological men competing in women’s sports. He pretended to agree, calling it unfair, but he’s done nothing about it in California. It was just rhetoric.

The whole exchange reveals where the Democrat Party stands. They should moderate, but they won’t. They’re tied to positions on open borders, defunding police, rioting, crime, shutting down schools, vaccine mandates, and men in women’s sports. If I had more time, I would have emphasized how captive they are to a pagan religion.

Jack Hibbs: Amen. Politics is just a manifestation of the deeper spiritual battle.

Charlie Kirk: Exactly. There are really only two worldviews: either you believe Genesis 1:1—God created the heavens and the earth—or you follow a pagan worldview. Atheism is fringe. Most people worship some god: the god of self, pleasure, materialism, ideology. The Democrat Party today is the placeholder of modern-day paganism.

Jack Hibbs: So true. And more than ever, it’s clear. People can’t claim to be JFK Democrats anymore. JFK wouldn’t even fit in today’s Democrat Party.

Charlie Kirk: Correct. Just look at Bobby Kennedy. His views today are considered radical—yet they’re the same views his father and uncle held. Now he’s aligned with Trump. It shows how far things have shifted.

Jack Hibbs: Charlie, you’re on campuses across the country, drawing huge crowds. What’s happening with young people in America right now?

Charlie Kirk: It’s profound. In the last election, younger voters—especially men—moved significantly toward Trump and conservatism. Data shows a 20-year-old man today is, on average, more conservative than his grandfather. That’s unprecedented.

Why? Because of where they get their information. Older generations consume CNN, NBC, or The New York Times. Younger generations get content from podcasts, TikTok, Instagram, or shows like mine and Joe Rogan. It’s decentralized.

Even more exciting is the church dynamic. While COVID caused many to leave church, the trend has plateaued and is ticking upward, especially among men under 30. They’re flocking to church in record numbers. Experts can’t explain it.

There’s a hunger for truth. These young men are tired of lies and watered-down messages. They want pastors to speak plainly, to challenge them, to call out sin. Unfortunately, many churches fail to meet that need.

Jack Hibbs: Amen. And that’s why we’re out of parking spots! God’s blessing has been overwhelming.

Charlie Kirk: Exactly. But many young men drive past 100 churches to find one that tells the truth. If pastors won’t boldly preach, these men won’t stay. They’ve been conditioned by truth-tellers online—they won’t tolerate compromise from the pulpit.
