Background
Dr. Andy Woods leads Sugar Land Bible Church as senior pastor and serves as president of Chafer Theological Seminary. Through Andy Woods Ministries, he teaches verse-by-verse Bible exposition with a dispensational, premillennial emphasis on the Pre-Tribulation Rapture, and co-hosts the “Pastors’ Point of View” prophecy update.
A former attorney, Woods holds a J.D. (Whittier Law), two B.A. degrees (University of Redlands), and earned his Th.M. (2002) and Ph.D. in Bible Exposition (2009) from Dallas Theological Seminary. He previously taught Bible and theology at the College of Biblical Studies (Houston) and chairs the board of the Pre-Trib Research Center.
