Background
J. Dwight Pentecost (1915–2014) was a pastor, professor, and theologian best known for his influential teaching on Bible prophecy and dispensational theology. He served for more than six decades as a faculty member at Dallas Theological Seminary, where he trained generations of pastors, missionaries, and Bible teachers.
Pentecost authored numerous books, including the classic Things to Come, a comprehensive study of biblical prophecy that remains a standard reference for students of eschatology.
