Hal Lindsey — Ministry Leader, Teacher, Author (1929–2024)

Hal Lindsey was a non-denominational ministry leader, conference speaker, and bestselling author whose work helped popularize modern interest in Bible prophecy and the Pre-Tribulation Rapture. His landmark book, The Late Great Planet Earth (1970), became a cultural touchstone—widely reported as the best-selling nonfiction title of the 1970s—and introduced millions to dispensational, pre-tribulational hope.

For decades Lindsey taught Scripture with an eye on current events through television and online programs such as The Hal Lindsey Report / Hal Lindsey Presents (archived on his official site and Christian networks). His ministry emphasized clarity, evangelism, and watchfulness as believers await Christ’s return. Lindsey went to be with the Lord on November 25, 2024, at age 95.
