Earthquakes
The latest tragedy is still unfolding… a 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck last Monday on the border of Turkey and Syria.
Thousands of buildings have collapsed. A second 7.5 magnitude struck hours later, about 100 km to the NW and compounded the destruction.
Over 20,000 people have been killed by the quake.
Wars & Rumors of War
- Vladimir Putin, Russia’s President since 2012, is amassing 500,000 troops, almost 2,000 tanks, and 700 aircraft for a massive, deeper invasion of Ukraine.
- China is flying high-altitude intelligence-gathering ‘weather balloons’ over the United States. This week, on orders of the President, an F-22 fighter jet shot one down just off the coast of South Carolina.
